自爆(자폭)하는 새누리당
5共 국보위 출신 김종인씨의 자해적 칼부림을 보며
새누리당이 自爆(자폭)하고 있다. 이 정당은 보수적 가치를 위해 투쟁하다 폭행까지 당한 전여옥 의원, 전교조와 싸우다 거액의 소송을 당한 조전혁 의원 등 愛國투사들을 몰아내더니 급기야 이영조 바른사회시민회의 공동대표 공천을 취소해 버렸다.
 
 새누리당은 이영조氏가 과거사정리위원장이던 2010년 영문보고서에서 5·18민중항쟁을 ‘popular revolt’, 제주 4·3사건을 ‘communist-led rebellion(공산주의자가 주도한 폭동)’이라고 표현한 것을 문제 삼았다. 그러나 이 같은 시비는 좌파의 악의적 왜곡 그 이상도 이하도 아니다. 5·18기념재단 홈페이지에서도 ‘광주 revolt, popular revolt’라는 표현을 썼다고 하지 않는가?
 
 새누리당은 한미FTA비준동의안에 반대표를 던진 황영철 의원(강원도 홍천·횡성)은 공천했지만 좌파가 공격한 愛國투사는 골라서 내쫓고 있다. 이런 집단이 다수당이 되고 집권을 해봐야 종북·친북·촛불세력(종·친·초)에 끌려 다니며 나라를 좀 먹어 갈 것이 뻔하다.
 
 새누리당을 정체성 불명의 괴물로 만들고 있는 이들은 이른바 비대위원들이다. 권력형 부패 前歷者 김종인, 천안함 폭침이 북한소행임을 부인하고 사사건건 정부와 보수층을 비방해온 이상돈, 골수 종북인사 이정희 의원을 존경해 온 이준석은 오만불손한 자세로 한나라당의 전통적 지지기반을 허물어 왔다.
 
 이번에도 이상돈氏는 “(이영조氏 공천은) 호남 표를 포기하는 것”이라며 “이미 엄청나게 표를 까먹었다”고 말했다. 이준석은 “(이영조氏) 관련 발언을 보면 이 분이 과연 경제민주화를 실현할 사람인지 의심스럽다. 우리의 정강정책과 맞지 않는 발언을 한 사람”이라고 비난했다. 김종인氏는 “이영조 후보의 전략공천에 찬성하지 않는다”며 “상식적으로 납득이 안가는 일”이라고 비난했다.
 
 김종인氏는 5공 시절 국보위를 시작으로 민정당, 민자당, 새천년민주당까지 안 가본 당이 없고 마지막으로 한나라당에 온 사람이다. 이런 인물이 좌파의 5·18 선동에 영합해 애국자 숙청에 나서니 코웃음이 나올 일이다.
 
 보수층은 이런 비대위의 自害的(자해적), 배신적 칼부림으로 새누리당에 등을 돌리고 있다. 새누리당이 4·11 총선에 참패하고 의회권력이 극좌파에 넘어간다면 그 책임은 보수를 분열시키고 종북·친북·촛불세력에 영합한 비대위와 박근혜 의원에 돌아갈 것이다.
