북한정권 붕괴가 두려운 종교인들
진정 맘몬을 섬기는 이들은 누군가?

한국 교회에는 봉수교회를 통해 대북지원을 하자는 분들이 많다. 심지어 봉수교회 담임목사라는 사람이 "하나님은 곧 김일성, 과학의 시대에 부활을 어찌 믿나"하는 동영상이 공개되었음에도 불구하고, 그들은 잘 바뀌지 않는다. 이보다 더 확실한 증거가 어디 있는가?

 

이전에는 ‘북한에 실상에 대한 증거가 부족하다’며 믿어주자고 했었다. 그런데 이제 수많은 새터민과 중국을 통한 정보 범람 앞에 대응논리가 사라지자, 비겁한 양비론을 펴기 시작한다.

 

우리가 북한의 봉수교회가 김일성을 섬기지 않느냐고 비판하면, 남한의 교회는 맘몬(돈의 신)을 섬기지 않느냐는 식이다.

 

하지만 그들은 실제로 북한 정권이 무너지는 것을 원치 않는다. 정치범 수용소의 문이 열리는 통일의 날을 보기는 원치 않는다. 2만4천 새터민과 수백만의 실향민이 귀향하는 기쁨의 날도 원치 않는다. 지하교회들이 큰 소리로 찬양을 부르게 되는 날, 신앙의 자유가 회복되어 평양이 다시금 동방의 예루살렘이 되는 영광의 날도 보기를 원치 않는다.

 

다만, 정권을 조금씩 지원해주면서 저들의 통치가 유지되기를 바란다.

 

왜? 북한이 갑자기 무너지면 대 혼란이 온다는 것. 결국 통일비용의 문제다. 즉, 돈 드는 게 무섭다는 것이다. 또 애써 세워놓은 재단과 조직을 닫을 수 없기 때문이기도 하다.

 

결국, 조직의 논리, 돈이다.

 

통일 운동가로서 얻어온 명예와 수입을 포기할 수도 없기 때문이기도 하다.

 

개인의 논리.. 또 돈 때문이다.

 

묻고 싶다. 정말 맘몬을 섬기는 사람들은 누구인가?

 

희생을 각오하고서라도 북한 정권을 무너뜨려야 한다는 사람들인가?

 

현상을 지키기 위해서 북한 정권을 유지시키려 하는 사람들인가?

 

저들은 사실 김일성과 맘몬을 같이 섬기고 있다. 그리고 김일성 숭배와 맘몬숭배, 이 둘은 극단적 이기주의라는 점에서 통하는 것이다.

결국 현상태유지를 원한다는 말이네요..
현 상태가 어떠한지 모르고 하는 말이겠군요..
옷이 깨끗해지기위해서는 세탁기에 넣고 정하는 빨래방식을 선택하고
세제를 넣고, 섬유유연제를 마무리하여 건조하기 좋은 상태로 짤려 나온 빨래감들을
햇볕이 잘 드는 옥상이나 창문가에 널어줍니다.
현상태가 때가 잔뜩묻고, 흙과 진흙과 아이스크림흘린 채로 옷을 입고 있는 상태라면
이제는 나서서 세탁기를 돌려 세탁해야하는데.. 다들 세탁하는 것을 싫어하시나 봅니다.
세탁기가 없으신지 아니면 세탁하고 싶은 마음이 없으신지..
