한미 FTA 페기하겠다는 사람들
‘반미자주화’란 구호는 1980년대 NL 운동권의 지상명령이었다.
통합진보당 통합민주당 전현직 의원들과 예비후보들이 미국 대사관에 몰려가 한미 FTA 재협상을 요구하는 서한을 전달하고 그게 안 되면 “우리가 집권하면 폐기 하겠다”고 했다. 한명숙 대표는 이에 앞선 기자회견에서 한미 FTA를 ‘매국적’이라는 말로 매도했다.

 

 국가 사이에 맺어진 협정을 정권이 바뀐다고 폐기할 것 같으면 그런 나라와 상대할 나라가 세상에 어디 있겠는가? 그리고 왜 꼭 ‘매국적’이란 표현이라야 한다는 것인가? 국회에서 아스팔트 위에서 그만큼 난리를 친 것도 모자라 시간이야 가든 말든 “백골이 진토 되어 넋이라도 있고 없고. 너 죽일 일편단심이야 가실 줄 있으랴?” 하는 식으로 나오는 이유가 도대체 무엇인가? 정말 알 수 없다.

 

 아니, 알 수 있다. 그게 그쪽 동네의 무상명법(無上命法, 최고의 규범)이기 때문이다. 국가소송제도, 역진방지, 개성공단 원산지 문제... 같은 것들은 시비 거리일 뿐이다. 그런 세부사항 이전에 그들은 그들의 바이블(Bible)상 한미 FTA를 받아들일 수 없게 돼 있다. 내 몸이 내 몸이 아닌 것이다. 집단(또는 교단?)의 신성한 존재이유에 충실할 따름이다.

 

 ‘반미자주화’란 구호는 1980년대 NL 운동권의 지상명령이었다. 한미 FTA는 ‘반미자주화’에 역행하는 것이라고 그들은 볼 것이다. 그 왕년의 NL적인 경향이 오늘의 통합진보당과 통합민주당에도 강한 입김을 쐬고 있다는 것일까? 그런가 안 그런가? 본인들 입으로 답하는 걸 한 번  들어봤으면 한다.

 

 2012년은 그런 그들이 다시 집권할 확률이 아주 높아지는 한 해가 될 것이라고 한다. 각종 여론조사와 시정(市井)의 숙덕공론들이 그런 추세를 반영하고 있다. 선거 이슈로 돼있는 복지논쟁은 본론이 아니다. 본론은 아직 나오지 않았다. 그러나 알 수는 있다. 코피 터질 게 어찌 FTA 뿐이겠는가? 그건 맛뵈기다. 그들은 벼르고 있다. “지난 10년보다 이제는 더 잘할 수 있다, 너네들, 우리가 다시 집권만 해봐라...!”

 

 보소들, 뭘 알고나 투표장에 가서 꾹꾹 찍소?
