이 세상에 북한같은 생지옥은 다시 없고, 이 세상에 김정일같이 악독한 놈은 다시 없다. 어린 여기자들을 납치해서 12년 중노동형을 때려놓고선, 너희들이 급하면 내가 지정하는 거물급 정치인을 보내서 데려갈래면 데려 가라! 세상이 이런 악독한 놈이 어디 있는가? There is no living hell on earth like North Korea. There is no evil dictator like Kim Jong-il on this earth. He kidnapped two young reporters, sentenced them to 12 years in the hard labor camp, and then say, come and get them if you can! Only the big shot I designate should come and get them. Is there another evil like him anywhere?
북한인권 일을 하면서 제일 힘들었던 결정이, 북한사람들에게도 지원을 하면 안 된다!란 주장이었다. 김정일이 아무리 미워도 북한사람들에게 무슨 죄가 있는가? 식량도 보내주고 옷도 보내주고 약도 보내주자! 그런데 탈북자들 수십명이 한 목소리로 말했다. 우리에게 식량을 보내고, 옷을 보내고, 약을 보냈다고요? 그런 식량 본 적도 없고, 먹은 적도 없고, 입은 적도 없습니다.. 북한주민들에게 식량과 약을 보내던 재미교포들이 북한을 다녀와서 나에게 말했다. 우리가 아이들에게 먹으라고 보내준 빵을 그 아이들이 먹은 적이 없대요! 개자식 김정일은 전세계에서 공수해온 산해진미 음식을 매일 처먹고 있다. 김정일의 요리사 후지모토 씨가 쓴 책에 다 적혀있다.. While working on the North Korean human rights issue, the most difficult decision on my part was to insist on cutting off all aid to North Korea, even the so-called humanitarian aid to the NK people. 유나와 로라가 비행기에서 내려서 가족들과 껴안는 것을 보면서, 유나가 어린 딸아이를 껴안는 것을 보면서 감동을 느끼지 않을 수 없다. 참 잘 되었다! 그러나, 북한인권을 10년 관여하면서, 내가 많이 바뀌었다.. 유나와 로라가 가족을 만나서 좋지만, 그 수많은 불쌍한 사람들, 피납어부들, 국군포로들, 일본인 납북 당한 사람들, 요코다 메구미 어머니와 아버지, 요덕수용소 수인들, 가족들은 내버려 두고 좋아만 해야한단 말인가? I was deeply moved when I saw Euna and Laura came down from the plane and hugged their family, when Euna hugged her little daughter. However, I changed over the years working on NK human rights. Euna and Laura and their families are all happy now, but what about the abducted SK fishermen, SK POW’s still in NK, Japanese abductees, the parents of Megumi Yokoda? What about all the inmates inside Yoduk Concentration Camp? How can I rejoice over the reunion of Euna, Laura, and their families?
유나와 로라와 클린턴과 고어가 앞으로, 김정일은 납치범이다! 김정일은 살인범이다! 김정일은 인종학살범이다! 라고 매일 웨치면서 북한주민들을 구하기 위하여 나선다면, 이번 일은 참 좋은 일이다. 그러나, 두 여기자만 살리기 위하여 클린턴이 날아가서 김정일에게, 미안합니다, 저 여자들 내보내 주세요! 앞으로 다시는 장군님의 심기를 건드리지 않겠습니다! 하고 돌아왔다면, 이건 절대로 좋은 일이 아니다. 지금도 매일 납북 당하고, 수용소에 갇혀있는 수십만 딴 유나와 로라에게 무어라 해명할 것인가? It would be a good thing that Bill Clinton flew over to Pyongyang and get the two reporters out, only if all of them, Euna, Laura, Clinton and Gore start to shout: Kim Jong-il is a criminal! Kim Jong-il is a murderer! Kim Jong-il is responsible for the NK Genocide! It would be a bad thing if Bill Clinton flew over to Pyongyang to cow-tow to Kim Jong-il: We are so sorry, Chairman Kim! Please release those two girls! We will never do anything to upset you in the future, Chairman Kim! Very bad for all those people who were kidnapped, tortured, and murdered by Kim Jong-il! How can we explain to them?
살인마 김정일을 잡아죽여야 다시는 유나와 로라가 북한 땅 근처에 갈 필요도 없고, 클린턴이 평양에 날아가서 김정일과 하기싫은 악수를 할 필요도 없고, 온 세상 사람들이 자식 납치당할 걱정없이 다리 뻗고 잘 수 있다. 김정일을 지금 당장 잡아 죽여야 한다! We have to get rid of Kim Jong-il right now. We won’t have to worry about Euna or Laura. Clinton does not have to fly over to cow-tow to the evil dictator. We won’t have to worry about our kids being kidnapped by Kim Jong-il. WE HAVE TO TERMINATE KIM JONG-IL RIGHT NOW!
