김한길·안철수의 北韓비판에 믿음이 안 가는 이유
|
그간의 비겁(卑怯)한 침묵과 악(惡)에 대한 방조에 대해 반성하고 자성부터 해야 한다.

1.
야권에서 상식적 발언이 나왔다.
“북한 정권 공포정치(恐怖政治)의 실상에 세계가 경악하고 있다. 견제 받지 않는 정치권력의 무자비한 폭력(暴力)과 만행(蠻行)의 끝이 보이지 않는다. 21세기 한반도의 북쪽을 어떤 세력이 장악하고 있는지를 우리에게 다시 한 번 일깨워주고 있다(민주당 김한길 대표 12월17일 최고위원회의 발언)”
“장성택 처형을 보면서 우리의 분단 현실을 새삼 상기하게 하고 있다. 전 세계 어디에서도 볼 수 없는 시대착오적 공포정치(恐怖政治)가 북한에서 버젓이 일어나고, 그것을 전 세계에 생중계하는 야만적인 상황을 목도하면서 깊은 우려를 갖지 않는 국민은 없을 것이다. 정부는 북한의 동향을 면밀히 주시하고 차분하고 정확하고 냉정하게 대응해야 한다. 호들갑을 떨어서는 결코 안 된다(전병헌 원내대표)”
김한길 대표는 이날 같은 회의에서 “정신 차려야 할 때”라는 말도 덧붙였다. 안철수 무소속 의원도 같은 날 기자들에게 보낸 문자메시지에서 “북한이 3대 세습이란 전무후무한 권력 승계 방식을 택한 것을 넘어 권력 기반을 다지기 위해 피의 숙청을 감행한 것은 지극히 비상식적(非常識的)이며 야만적(野蠻的)인 행위”라며 “이 사건은 북이 얼마나 위험하며 예측하기 어려운 상대인가를 극명하게 보여줬다”고 했다.
그는 이어 “북측은 권력의 안정이, 피를 앞세운 숙청이 아닌 존중과 평화를 통해서만 얻어질 수 있다는 사실을 기억하기 바란다”고 했다.

김정은은 “건성건성 박수를 쳤다”고 고모부를 기관총으로 살해하는 폭군이다. 야권의 발언이 진정성을 가지려면 이런 야만(野蠻)집단과 연방제 통일을 하고 보안법을 없애자는 주장부터 포기해야 할 것이다. 북한정권은 헌법 제4조가 말하듯 변화시켜야 할 평화적 교체의 대상일 뿐 신성한 통일의 파트너가 될 수 없다.
김한길 대표가 헌법과 진실의 길을 걷고자 한다면 북한인권법 통과에 팔을 걷고 나서야 할 것이다. 17·18대 국회에 이어 19대 까지 발목 잡힌 북한인권법은 자유와 인권의 선언적 문건에 불과하다. 악(惡)을 악이라 말하지 못하는 나라가 무슨 인권과 정의, 진보와 양심을 말할 자격이 있단 말인가?

어이없는 일이지만 야권의 소위 친노(親盧) 주류는 여전히 상식도 헌법도 무시한다. 유시민 전 보건복지부 장관은 15일 문재인 북콘서트 현장에서 “우리의 현실을 극명하게 보여준 동종(同種)의 사건이 남과 북에서 비슷한 시기에 일어났다”며 북에서는 “위대한 수령의 손자’가 다스리고” 남에서는 “반인반신(半人半神)의 지도자라는 분 따님이 다스리고 있다”고 했다. “북한의 장성택 처형과 이석기 의원 내란 음모 사건은 같다”는 말도 덧붙였다.
박지원 민주당 의원은 11일 ‘JTBC’와의 인터뷰에서 살인마(殺人魔) 김정은은 대해 “TV, 사진에서 비치는 모습을 보면 상당한 수업을 받아서 늠름하다”며 “이런 때일수록 김정은 체제를 강화시켜주는 것이 좋다”고 했다. 또 다른 살인마 김정일에 대해서는 “만나보면 굉장히 소프트하고 다정다감하고, 머리 회전이 빠른 사람”이라도 했다.
양승조 민주당 최고위원은 9일 박근혜 대통령에 대해 “박정희 대통령은 중앙정보부라는 무기로 공안통치와 유신통치를 했지만 자신이 만든 무기에 의해 암살(暗殺)당하는 비극적 결과를 예상하지 못했을 것”이라며 “박근혜 대통령은 박정희 대통령의 교훈을 타산지석으로 삼으라”고 했다. 부모님이 비운에 죽었고 본인도 면도칼 테러를 당했던 대통령에게 암살을 말한다.
15일 노무현 재단 행사에는 유죄 받은 사람들을 환호하고 박수쳤다. 한명숙 전 총리와 곽노현 전 서울시 교육감이 참석했다. 2010년 7월 불법 정치자금 9억 원을 받은 혐의로 기소됐던 한명숙 전 총리는 지난 9월 2심에서 징역 2년, 추징금 8억8000만원의 유죄 선고를 받았다.
곽노현 전 서울시 교육감은 후보 단일화 대가로 사퇴한 후보에게 금품을 건넨 혐의로 징역 1년 확정판결을 받고 수감 중이던 지난 3월 가석방됐다. 도덕성을 앞세워 온 소위 진보 진영이 이들은 향해 “힘내세요” “믿습니다”라는 환호와 함께 큰 박수를 보냈다.

한국의 자칭 진보는 인권, 평화, 헌법을 들먹여왔지만 인류의 보편적 기준과 동떨어져 왔다. 헌법도 법률도 상식도 아랑곳하지 않는다. 김한길·안철수 등의 발언이 국민의 마음을 잡으려면 그간의 비겁(卑怯)한 침묵과 악에 대한 방조에 대해 자성해야 한다. 장진성 시인의 일갈을 새겨듣자.
“대한민국 국민은 북한 인권을 건성건성 말해선 안 된다. 그럴 때도 아니다. 수 많은 人命(인명)들을 아무렇게나 즉시 처형하는 북한정권에 우리 국민도 즉시 분노, 즉시 행동으로 민족의 양심을 보여줘야 할 때이다.”
